Farah Khan to shoot for item number of Sultan from March 5th

Salman Khan - Anushka Sharma starrer Sultan new song is being choreographed by choreographer turned director Farah Khan. Earlier Vaibhavi Merchant was doing this item number but because of her father's death she moved from Mumbai to be with the family.

The dates for the shooting of the song were already planned so Ali Abbas Zafar requested Farah to help him. Farah, who now only choreograph songs for selected people like Shahrukh khan, Sajid Nadiadwala and her brother Sajid Khan could not say NO to her friend Salman Khan.

Farah and Vaibhavi are also good friends so Vaibhavi would also not mind Farah to enter into Sultan.

The song which will be shot on Anushka is going to an item number. Anushka is a good dancer and Farah is going to cash this talent of her in Sultan song. Anushka is also very excited and rehearsing a lot at a dance hall in Versova every day from the last week.

This is not a romantic song but a full-blown grand, dance number — an item song with Anushka and Salman and 100 dancers will shoot from March 5 to 10.

A set is prepared at Film City in Sunil Maidan where a village of Punjab with havelis, etc have been constructed giving it an earthy, rustic feel.
